It's free software. Unless they're making ad revenue, I don't see how MSN could be making any money. Microsoft loses money on a lot of it's products, such as the Xbox and the Zune. They take losses on some of their products just to get into a market and strangle it to death until they emerge the dominant leader. Right, like the Zune is going to outsell the iPod.

MSN is owned by microsoft. They are currently in major debt.

They make plenty, but they are like all companies the reinvestment is more than the intake. Great company though. Wish I could find something to do with them at my age (62) to supplement my income.
