A hero may die physically, but never mentally. He/she will always remain in our hearts, which keeps him/her alive. That's why it's usually said that Heroes live forever. A hero being immortal is does not necessarily mean the person will never die. Instead, even if he dies, there will be many who will take that person's path and keep his beliefs/ideals alive, making him/her immortal in our hearts.

Nope your wrong in real life the hero always die first. But its not a bad way to go considering the other options.
Plus did you watched matrix neo died in the battle w/ agent smith. Also the guy in 30 days of night he died too.
Also the 300 all execpt one died maybe the other guy died to but in end.

not true. In the very first story of a hero, the book Beowulf, the hero, Beowulf dies.
