all weather duct tape or wall putty like u use to put up posters without driving nails in the wall, that stuff is water proof.

Use a hot glue gun to put magnets onto medium size paper clamps and place about every 2' along the top edge of the roofline to hold the strand in place. Use medium paper clamps without magnets along the rooflines that do have edges such as ridge caps.

hire someone to put them ; if you don't want to hurt yourself ; climbing and scaling the rooftops ; maybe hire friend that is a contractor to help maybe ?; but if you can't afford dat ; use little screws to keep them on
