I also find it wimpy when people bash candidates yet fail to prove any allegations. I also find, much to my dismay, that most of those people are conservatives. Wannabe conservatives would be a better way to put it.

I do get pretty disgusted with politicians in general and the narrow minded people who have adopted the same tactics of the brainless politicians they may or may not follow. I am a conservative republican. Do I always vote down party lines? No. But, I have not voted Democratic because I disagree with the policy of everyone of the people who are running on that ticket.
I have to laugh at so many people who (just like a politician) take bits and pieces of things that are said and twist them to paint an entirely different picture than what the speaker implied or even actually said outright.
I don't think it is wimpy to bash other people, I think it is cowardly when one sits behind a computer and belittles other people for expressing their opinion. That is what is so great about being an American! I can express my opinion and disagree with the leaders of our country and not be arrested unlike some of the many countries I have visited.
Once again I say that if you don't like what is going on, stop whining and do something about it. If you don't like my opinion it doesn't hurt my feelings so feel free to bash me.
I know someone will tell me how wrong I am but a very great man once said, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

Not everyone has "their own candidate". There are many people who don't think any of the candidates have the wisdom and experience to run the country. Let's face it, we're not given many good choices.

What it probably means is that there isn't any candidate that they can honestly, whole-heartedly support.
It's called "voting for the lesser of two evils" and it happens all the time.
