How do gay people feel about that phrase - "Gay for Pay". Straight men working in Gay Porn. Gay people even seem to agree with the notion which I don't think helps further equality for gay rights in the world. And, that society doesn't look at you like you're a human being - only an action. You're gay only when you get paid.

I don't believe in the "gay for pay" term.
I believe it's just a bs term that has been created by the so called straight society that are attempting to justify their homosexuality by being "paid" to have sex with another person of the same sex.

It does and doesn't. It does in the way "straight" guys can have gay sex and still call themselves straight and live life normally. It doesn't in that many gay guys would do anything to be with a straight guy, and it makes them happy.

How do you feel about gay people working in straight porn?
Of all the things that don't help us become equal, pornography and who stars in it is the least of our worries.
When we can adopt like straight people can
When we can get married like straight people can
When we can apply for a home-loan and not be turned down because the person we're applying with is homophobic
THEN come and whine about pornography and whose in it. Until then, push off and stop wasting our time.

I think pornography, in general, tends to dehumanize sex, and the people who work in it -- whether they're straight, gay, lesbian, bi or whatever, regardless of whether the porn movie they're in depicts gay, lesbian, hetero or bi sexual activity.
I don't see "gay for pay" as affecting the civil rights of the gay community at all -- to me it just proves that some individuals will do anything for money, even if it means engaging in activities that go against their basic natures.

Its just a catch phrase to make the guys that participate in it feel good about themselves. Its still prostitution and people that engage in it either by selling or buying don't really care about the motivation, It is similar to prostitution that is referred to as love for sale. No one is fooled by the label, one side wants money and the other side wants sex. It's not love and its not gay, its just sex.

vary interesting topic. I've often discussed this with friends of mine. And we believe that its not in the best interests for streight guys to portray gays in videos/porn but if gays weren't so self rightious about being themselves, then we wouldnt really have a problem! right?

how can getting paid for an abominable act make that act any worse than it already is??? any kind of sex where someone is selling themselves out to perform any sex acts with any person animal or thing is a sin immoral and disgusting there are no degrees of right or wrong because it is all wrong!!!! bless us all as we search for truth!
