I did last year, a pumpkin casserole to be served as a dinner course. The pumpkin I bought was too large, and I couldn't make the spices work out.
I'll try it again this year, with tiny pumpkins, and I'll let you know how it works out. We had leftovers this year for Thanksgiving, because we were both under the weather.
Edit to GEORGIE -- Way to go! What a sweet and thoughtful thing to do!

positioned some water in the backside of the roasting pan. Get a load of aluminum foil. Wrap the turkey in the foil, layers of it, severe high quality and tight until eventually you experience useful there is not any air stepping into. I wrap in around one way and then around the different way, like making T's, some circumstances each and every. Bake it on a low warmth for longer, no longer too severe, yet severe adequate for properly coooking the turkey. I do mine at 350 C Then for the final hour and a 0.5 or so, take off the tinfoil to brown the poultry. enable each and every of the drippings from the bag to circulate into the water in the roaster. Set the turkey in the water. Baste it each and every 10 minutes to be fairly on precise of it. I purely use a huge soup ladel to do mine, yet you need to use a turkey baster, making use of the water and drippings from the backside. Make the turkey glisten moist each and every time. sturdy success and congratulations!

I had a recipe for a desert that I made a while ago. It was very simple and last time it turned out really good. No cooking, just mixing a few simple ingredients. Well, I messed it up! It still tasted good though, just too much cool whip.

I made a biscuit cake with raspberries and it burned on the bottom. I was trying to cook it at the same time as I did the bird and the temp. wasn't right. Oh well, next year I'll be a little more patient and make the cake first.
