er, a grandchild ? Kidding. How about something in the gift certificate vein...like a hot air balloon flight or weekend away. Wine is good as is some sort of hamper-y thing. The easiest thing to do is just think about what they like and go from there. The first few Xmas's with my inlaws (before we got married) they gave me a selection of g string underwear. The next year we were engaged and I got a full range of Tupperware.....one xtreme to another.

What about a watch and a braclet? Give them something that shows you care about them, and get them a nice card. If you don't like the first idea, ask your boyfriend. Or maybe a nice Christmas ornament of your boyfriends fathers favorite team. For your boyfriends mother, try going for jewlery, maybe a nice pair of earrings.

buy them something that helps them to be more comphy like a warm fuzzy blanket, nice bedroom shoes, terry cloth robes, or a heating pad..something that makes their resting time a little more comfortable, a little bit better..u will be glad if u do this! maybe warm wool socks and thick toobogans or isotoner gloves if they are out in the cold alot...go with anything that improves their rest, new bed pillows, flannel sheets,,etc. think quality of comfort thats the number one way to go

Tough question coz i do not know what kind of pple are they. I got mine a lamp, a hamper of goodies and champagne. They were really happy abt it last Christmas.

It's the easiest and best way to please his parents. It also doesn't seem like you are trying too hard or pushing into the family.

hi me and my fiancee bought his mam a diamond watch £30 argos, and his dad some wii games, my parents we got my mam a vodka set £20 tesco and mika album £10 and my dad a car polisher buffer and loadsa polishes and car freseners
