Yes, you can still get a STD even with a condom. Most common would be herpes. All condoms are not 100% effective. The best advice is to go see a doctor so you won't have to worry anymore. Get a check up and be honest, and ask him all the questions you want to ask. Get a blood test.
Once you get confirmation that you don't have any STDs you'll feel much better. But if you did contract an STD, then yes, it can pass onto your wife and child.

It is possible to get diseases even if you used a condom...there are some skin diseases that are infected with the simple contact of skin, even if the sexual organs dont touch directly, and in some case not show any symptoms at all.
I recommend you go to your doctor and have him do tests for the most common diseases...i think you wife deserves at least that.

There's always a chance. I believe condoms are 95% enless of course it tears.
Having sex with a prostitute probably isn't the cleanest thing you could do. If you're worried about having an STD , go get checked out by the doctor.

wow, I'm sure this question was hard for you to write. Thanks for your honesty. My thoughts are, that, you have bigger issues in life then what you asked, but who am I to judge? BUT, in uncomfortable consideration and sincere thought to your concern.
I think that you did leave yourself, and your developing family, vulnerable to infection. Protection was provided (at the time) and so perhaps you can rest (for now). BUT, in my conclusion, infection has always been an internal thing, be it mind, body or soul and in my opinion, your hunger leaves you vulnerable to infection thus it could carry on to your family and thous who look up to you.
If you can find a way to become the man you promised to be then their lives may have more value to you some day. lol
Take care of the small things and the big things will take care of themselves. It takes a big man to be a real man and the rewards are bigger than meets the eye. lol

It's too late to worry. Now you should act: If you have any signs of infection, rushes or health issues, go to your physician and get STD test done. Have a blood test done for virus infection (Including HIV). Condoms do not protect you 100 % from HIV. The virus is so small that it penetrates membranes.

1.No method is a 100% effective. Still, the chances of catching something while wearing a condom are pretty slim.
2. If you are truly worried, and want to start being a responsible husband and father: go get tested. Better safe than sorry. As i said before, the chances of having caught something are slim, but they exist. And please, stop cheating and getting involved with high risk people while doing it.

Using a condom greatly decreases your chance of contracting serious diseases like HIV. You still have a small chance of getting something though. Other diseases, like HPV, you can contract in spite of the condom. You're probably fine, but I suggest you get tested so that you can be sure and then not worry about it anymore.

Probably not. Veneral warts is a possibility for one. Crabs (lice) are another. And if the condom broke, lots of possibilities then..
Just go to a public health department STD clinic and get tested for everything to be sure...and use more self-restraint in the future...She is carrying your child, for God's sake!!! What are you teaching your children when you cheat on your wife???

Every-time you have Sexual Intercourse you have a chance of getting a STD, no matter what type of protection you use.
Yes, I would go to the clinic if I were you and get tested, because if you infected your wife she could pass it down to your child.
