If Christ took bodily form and walked into the White House today, what would he say?

I'm putting this in the Politics section, because the prominent form of religion has been twisted for political ends.

Thanks, Emin.

Chi, if I'm not mistaken, Christians are not only entitled, but required to study up on the teachings of the Master, and are, therefore, in a position to take a good guess.

You are invited to try.

I don't pretend to be a saint, but I couldn't start a war resulting in the death of a million people, I couldn't order torture, and I couldn't use my power to trash the Constitution.

Neither could most people here.

Yes, we are capable of and obligated to judge this administration--or, perhaps I should say, this illegal regime.

GREAT QUESTION!!!! He would most likely forgive George but show great disappointment. I imagine he would ask Bush, " why have you used my name for your own personal gain? I never told you to invade Iraq." He would also ask, " why haven't you looked after the poor? They needed the governments help and you left them." Who knows the exact wording. However, I think the conversation would go something like that.

1) Stop putting words in my mouth.

2) Sell all that you have and give to the poor. It is harder for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get to the kingdom of heaven.

3) When it comes to other people's private lives (sex, health, family, religion) - here's a big helping of mind-your-own-f*cking-business.

He would probably ask for some food and drink, not having had any in 2000 years. Then he would probably ask GB to sell all his worldly possessions and come follow him.

Good job George. Keep trying to protect Christian civilization from the evil threat of islamofascism. Don't worry about the liberals who hate you for protecting them. I'll deal with them later...

He'd probably tell him to keep reminding people that the LIEberal media isn't the truth and most liberals believe everything the LIEberal media says.

I would not pretend to speak for one as wondrous as Jesus. I am not worthy to think that I know his feelings about Bush.

Jesus may have forgiven Bush for his wrong doings, then again he may not. I do not know.

edit: Sorry. Speaking for the son of God directly about an individual I only know via TV is a venture I'd prefer not to take. I do not know the demons/burdens that have driven Bush to do the things that he does. Only God knows, and therefore His son with Him.

I remember George say in one of his speeches to the Nation that God had spoke to him and told him to go to war in Iraq.
So I guess Jesus would say George that was a test, it was Satan talking to you I am Jesus I would not have lead you on that path, you failed but you still have time to repent, the balls in your corner George

Listen carefully my son. All can be forgiven, except that you INCORRECTLY use my name in the name of power and control. AND that you misquoted me in saying that I gave you permission to invade Iraq.
