I recently bought a Chevy Uplander. (its a mini-van) I have the power sliding doors, but for the past week, they've been acting up. Literally every other time I close the door, it won't latch and pops back open. Luckily, its under warranty. Anyone else had this problem with their Uplander or any other vehicle with the power sliding doors? I've never heard anything bad, that's why I'm a little surprised that it happened. Hopefully its a fluke.

Depending on the model year, there are software updates available for the door controllers to improve door timing.

Minor adjustments can be made to improve their operation as well.

All is covered by your factory warranty.

You've got a warranty and you're wasting time asking questions on the internet? I hope you make it to the Dealer before the warranty time is up! It's probably just a problem with the contacts on the inside edge of the door opening.
