None of those poems requires a specific number of stanzas. (The narrative poem might be longer than the others since it tells a whole story, whereas a lyric poem is generally a short expression of thoughts and emotions.) Has your teacher given you any definitions or examples of those four types of poetry?

Almost all good poetry uses figurative language (similes, metaphors, and other examples of words used to express something more than their literal meaning) and images (descriptions of things that can be experienced with the five senses).

This website might help you with definitions of poetic terms:

A lyric poem is a poem that tells feelings and may be put to music. These poems are usually short.
Such as, a sonnet. A 14 line poem that is normally free verse [No specific ryhme scheme]
Then a Figurative language poem is a poem that has similes, metaphors, personification.
Also, Narritive poetry is as is sounds. A poem that tells a story. Here you could write about many things. How someone changed the world perhaps.
An imagery poem makes it to where you can really see what your writing. Like, describing something so specifically that many different people can see the same thing.

The last three can have any amount of stanzas, unless instructed otherwise by your teacher.

I hope this helps.
Good luck. And if you need anymore help, you can email me.
