Because, as Hillary demonstrated in the debate, they're too afraid of offending either side to take a clear stand.

If they can't capitalize socialism with a capital "S", and admit what they are, they won't beable to admit to the American people, that the more illegals who enter America, the more votes they get from illegals. When did Hillary ever care about the law anyway? She defended her hubby when he lied to a grand-jury, disrespecting Americans, the Rose-law firm, Tyson Foods scandals, Peter Paul, and illegal campaign funding for herself. What difference would it make to her to get a few illegal votes? Or a lot of illegal votes for that matter.
Hillary Clinton is as egotistical as her husband, if not more so. She is the most power hungry political individual I have seen since the Kennedy's!
If she doesn't care about the law, which she swore to uphold when she became a lawyer, then why would she care about the law when it comes to protecting America?
FOLKS! NOTHING about this woman IS LAWFUL!
I'll swear THAT to a Grand-Jury, and be telling the truth!

The Democrats are in a conundrum. They can't get loose on immigration because it will alienate American voters and they can't get tough on illegals because it will cut them off from an abstract voter base. They use that base in fund raising using the untraceable names to access money from the rich liberals who are maxed out for donations.

We won't see where they stand until after they gain the white house, IF they gain the white house.

So what are the Republican's saying they are going to do about it? Are they agreeing with Bush that they want to just go ahead and grant them amnesty?
