I don't have a problem with it. Shouldn't we send them all to war?

My friend David (gay) just joined the Navy.
I say, fine, don't let the gays serve, why send all those gorgeous boys to die needlessly when any idiot straight would glady die in their place?
I don't mean to sound harsh, I did have a straight acquaintance die in Iraq, but I'm just saying, the American people and the American government are so anti-gay, why should we serve?
David, stay safe. You're too young, too attractive, and too "skilled" to die in a nonsense war.

You wouldn't be able to pick out military as you say "Girlie Men". They are serving in Iraq, women too, just like everyone else. It's all in the mind- your mind. They worry about the same things everyone else does.

I'm straight, but we have quite a few gays and lesbians putting it all on the line for all of us. I for one am proud of all the men and women in uniform (volunteers no less) for their patriotism and fulfillment of duty to the country. Very thankful for them as well.

This is horrible. People whether gay or straight don't join the military to pick someone up. They are there to defend their country.
