Why do certain liberal Christian haters in here ask for links to stories they refuse to believe, then when links are provided they chicken out and refuse to comment or at least stand corrected? Hmmm, I wonder what P and D stands for (my guess is Pretty and Dumb).

You want facts Don't Taze Me Bro, well here are a few:

1. Christ hated the power elite
2. Christ hanged out with undesirables
3. Christ always believed in treating people as equals
4. Christ helped the poor and lame

Thus by this evidence, Christ himself was a liberal. You want the sites to back it up, its called the New Testament.

I don't think you'd classify me as a "liberal," and frankly, I prefer that we all address our fellow Americans as just that: Americans. I am also a faithful Christian, who takes to heart Jesus' teachings.

That said, when some people make outrageous comments in the guise of "questions," I must ask for links to the source. It's only proper, given the relative ease with which one can back up their sometimes silly commentary.

Wouldn't you agree?

Because often 'christians' put forward non-factual information as if it were evidence of something

People do not generally hate christians or what they stand for.

They may hate the power base that controls them.
They take issue with the fact that people who are brainwashed will do what they can to avoid seeing facts as they are. Often the christians may offer evidence that is not really evidence such as passages from the bible or the opinion of some human who is in a powerful position in the church.

Scientific evidence and reasoning is not the same thing as religious teachings, reported religious revelations, and god's word as expressed by humans(eg the bible).

Why do you hide your email and the ability to make comments directly to you like a little girl hiding from monsters under her bed?

Before you throw names at other people check yourself.

And when you post a link do so to a legitimate new organization (AP, BBC et al) not to some right wing blog site

i do no longer think in "Biblical inerrancy" and yet many non-Christians label me as a "fundie" and "evangelical. I take a slightly tutorial/scholarly attitude to the Bible. even however, in spite of if I have been to take a thoroughly literal view of the completed Bible (including the e book of Revelation) I nonetheless could no longer justify the theory in an eternal torture chamber. The wages of sin is dying. The lake of hearth is the "2d dying" the place dying and Hades are destroyed constantly. that is why an "eternal hell" would not make sense. The soul has in no way been assured eternal life. that is why Jesus got here...to grant us eternal life (John 3:sixteen). Even eternal torment in hell continues to be eternal life.

you'd have to ask them. I see very few conservatives that I would consider Christians. As Gandhi put it " I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."
