Spend your money on something more practical.

Just pain the walls and use the savings to do some needed repair or get a piece of furniture.

Depends on what room you plan on installing it in. It is usually found in kitchens. Call it what you want (fancy terms) but it is nothing more than the process of covering the bottom part of a wall with a material that contrasts from the upper part. Normally made of individual wood pieces or paneling made of wood or plastic with a chair rail placed on top of it.
