If we somehow manage to improve human relations in our society, that would be a huge step forward ! If we accept our differences and learn to live with them, that should be possible...It's the human relations that present a real and omnipresent problem, no matter where you live...
Once our relations are improved, we can move on to argue on environmental and economic issues...politics as we see each day on TV or read in daily papers and Internet will lead us nowhere...it's just too selfish, it can't see beyond its own interests...

Get the guns out of people's hands
Get extreme on "hard" drugs, leave the marijauna lovers alone
Get the cops out of the donut shops and into investigating every crime, hire lots more cops if needs be. If American, bring back troops frrom Iraq, deputize them and get them on the anti crime job; 100K more cops would ga a long way
