good question!!!
i believe our greatest potential is immortality, but the perfect human would realize the real goals of this world and that is to survive without suffering, every action that person took would be to further this goal.
given the limitations of knowing the future, one could not choose the perfect action every time, the only way to choose the perfect action everytime is to see into the future, or base your actions on what has been know to happen in the past, requiring much experiance and study.

Exactly like you. That is the only way You would measure someone, any other human being as "perfect". The word perfect should be stricken from our vocabulary altogether, in my opinion. It's a state that can not and will probably never be achieved by a human being.
If on the other hand, you believe in "god" who is said (by all the religions) to be "perfect", how can you now say or assume that we that we are not perfect? Perhaps we are doing EXACTLY what the god(s) designed us to do?

I have done a lot of things in life, but getting married and raising a family has been the most fulfilling. Going to college might be a close second. Having my own business is something I would really like to do.

What do you see when you close your eyes? And what about when you open them? How dramatic is the difference? We are entitled to our fantasies. Indeed, we really ought to see them as essential to our well-being. What's the point of a life without dreams? It's true too, that some dreams are best left unfulfilled. They are more enjoyable in the imagination than they would ever be in reality. Yet every so often, we have to get a little of what we want, if only to maintain the tantalising illusion that the rest might just be attainable.

If perfect cannot be human...
this does not mean that we should not strive to be better
Empathy for others should be up at the top of that striving to be better.

depends on how you look at this. i could act with my instincts all the time and be a perfect " human". or i could act the way society has told us to act and be a perfect "human" in that aspect. what is human anyways these days? acting with my biological human instincts or being able to adapt to society and following cultural norms? which path is more human?
i would have to say the society route because being human is being able to adapt to your surroundings.

When he distinguishes himself from animals,
then he becomes a human.
When he realises that he is the highest of all
creation, then he becomes a human.
When he develops his intellect,
then he becomes a human.
When he becomes an example for others,
then he becomes a human.
When he transcends the common limitations
through his wisdom, then he becomes best of humans.

Easy answer: Jesus was the only perfect human being that ever lived. The "perfect" human would behave exactly as Jesus did.
