1-5-3-6-2-4 check the rotation of the rotor
you can verify #1 compression by pulling the #1 plug
put your finger over the hole and turn the engine(please dont try this on a hot engine)
when you feel the pressure that is the compression stroke

1) Cover in petrol
2) Light match
3) Throw match on petrol
4) Burn baby burn

On a more serious note the firing order is: 1-5-3-6-2-4.

if its a 4 cyl its 1.3.4.2 if its a 6 cyl its 1.5.3.6.2.4
