I don't believe so for, in my case, I have a distrust towards her and her husband, do to past performances in the Clinton White house. It is true that it was not "Her" watch but tactics played out by both her and slick willie tend to make one wary.
For example, ill thought out social health care, Whitewater, her noted dislike for the U.S Military.
Intelligent? Very much so, but she does make me uneasy.
Not fearful or envy......just uneasy.

I think it goes deeper than envy and fear.
I find it ridiculously entertaining when some of us cite fear of "losing our liberties" and call her names likes "Hitlary", when we'll practically give away our freedoms if the program is packaged under a pretty little name - Patriot Act anyone?
When you don't like someone because she has forgiven her husband for adultery (the Christian thing to do), wants to help other Americans (ensure kinds w/ SCHIP) keep Social Securty solvent (a system you've paid into it since your first paycheck), wants to roll back taxes to the top 1% (a group whom no one answering this question belongs to). When you vote against your best interest then it goes way beyond envy and fear....it's pure hatred, and uninformed hatred at that, and I don't understand it.

After two Bushes do we really need two Clintons as President..
Time for someone new, someone who doesn't run on platforms that unties people not based on the extremes.. whether they be liberal, conservative, anit-war, pro-military....
Someone who represents the majority of Americans and not just carrying the banner based on pilitical Party.
Unfortuantely that won't be happening anytime soon, as the idea behind politics is to simply get elected.

You are wrong about the envy but absolutely correct regarding fear. A person like that doesn't fit in politics. She should have stayed in the legal field, being an expert bs artist.

Like Bush people either love her or hate her. The country is polarized pretty much 50 / 50 between between both parties and particularly between the Bushes and the Clintons. There's nothing either side can do to change the opinions of the other.

Envy and fear have NOTHING to do with this, my friend. We look at her record, which is quite visible, and we see that Hillary is NOT a leader, rather, she is a power mad politician who wishes to sell out our nation to socialistic/communistic ideals.

My dear friend,
No one needs to vilify or malign Hillary, she is shooting herself in the foot. She is losing female voters not because of what Edwards or Obama have said but because of what she is saying and forget that she previously said something contradictory.
Perhaps, it is not her fault that she was born with a silver foot in her mouth.

i believe that you are right. while both clintons are members of my party of choice, i dislike his draft dodger status. hillary scares me as being as unyeilding as bush. i do not think that she will listen to the american public anymore than bush does.
i also think that should she be elected, she will think that she has to show her manliness. she will try to show that she has the biggest pair. in reality, many will vote for her because of the lack of testosterone. her feminine thought processes will be what they want to see. i really think she is a democratic party version of bush.
