no, i always use cheap paper. why waste money on paper that's just going to be ripped up and thrown away? I would rather spend more on the present. If someone was as ungrateful as you, then i wouldnt bother buying them anything!

We were not rich growing up. I never knew that. We had everything we needed. We grew our own vegetables and fruits. There were things that I thought I HAD to have throughout the years that the other kids had at school. Sometimes I got them and sometimes I got told no. When it came to Christmas my father did his very best to make sure we got everything we asked for and then some. I know now that he must have done without alot, in order to save so that we might have the things he bought. I never saw a gift under the tree until Christmas morning. So that meant that my father would stay up until we went to bed and then he would stay up most of that night putting together toys and wrapping them. Of course alot of those toys were wrapped in the comic sections of the newspaper, and in brown paper from the grocery bags. He did buy colorful bows and ribbons. I know how lucky I am to have a daddy that didn't care about expensive wrapping paper. And I hope that someday you won't care about it either. Comics and brown paper wrapping still makes me smile.

I do not give damn what a gift is wrapped in, the paper will be thrown out anyway!! I always buy really nice gifts for people but wrapping is a last minute thing for me so I buy a piece of $1 gift wrap or even give it to them still in the plastic bag from the shop. Don't judge a gift by its wrapping, and I wish those people hadnt given you anything as you obviously don't deserve it with an attitude like that!

Think yourself lucky that someone has taken the trouble to buy & wrap a present in the first instance.
Just think this Christmas about the number of kids who will wake up on Christmas Day to nothing...
Get a life and stop being so self centred!!!!

Whats the point of spending £4 or more on a roll of fancy wrapping paper, thats just gonna get ripped to shreds and chucked in the bin?
You should learn to be more grateful, these people don't have to buy you anything you know.

Cheap wrapping paper makes perfect sense. It's going to get thrown in the garbage eventually.

You spoilt brat. I hope that some time in your life you will be very poor for a while so you learn to appreciate every little bit you get. It is not the present that counts, it's the thought.

That is so ungrateful.
Someone has been out shopping, spent time and money, maybe they can't afford much, or maybe their taste isn't yours.
As my mother used to say "it's the thought that counts".
That didn't always work for me either. Let someone benefit, send what you consider crap to a charity outlet. Someone will love it.
You could always recycle the paper too

What is paper? Nothing. If it's a gift that says, "You're my friend, and I thought of you" that is what counts. Maybe you don't make your tastes known; or maybe, you're greedy and demanding.
Do you often refer to your "friends" as cheapskates, and their gifts as "crap and useless"? Perhaps you need some new friends....or a reality check.

No, I don't care if they are wrapped or how they are wrapped. At least the person took the time to get you something; enjoy the little things in life, it will make you happier.
