We are all free to do whatever we want. We just have to suffer the consequences of those actions should there be any.

Good question!
Even as members of society, no I do not think we are truly free. There are always outside influences in what we do, say, wear, think, or try to be.
For example, you might think you just like a handbag because it appeals to you, but what if you've seen a number of other women with the same bag? Can you truly say it was something you wanted or because you wanted what other people had?
Of course, there are rules. In every society, there are rules. People try to claim that the rules are there to help us, to protect us, when in actual fact, they tend to do more damage than good. I don't know what can be done about that...
Anyway, to prevent myself from rambling further, I don't think we're free. I also don't think we're aware of it half the time, as I said before. How can you truly be sure you're doing something because you want to, not because you've seen it elsewhere?

We should be free to do what we wish BUT should we be free to something which our society does not approve of?
What gives people the the right to belive that they can do whatever they wish even if it would upset people.

Short of killing, I'd say yes. But then you have to be ready to pay for the consequences of your action(s). Everything does have a price.

Yes i think we are free to do our own will-but there are still alot of closed minded people that tend to frown on us,so we still tend to watch what we do.
