Yes, he is. I think that he was acting in that video, just like Eric McCormack played a gay man on "Will and Grace", but he is not gay in real life.

I watched a documentary about him he was with the band WHAM. When careless whisper came out and they had a huge female following the record industry didn't want sales to drop, it was a cover up.I think everybody had guessed before that lol

Careless whisper is one of his first songs, which was made before he announced he was gay. But i'm sure he has been with women in his early days.

As I understand it and last biography I read he didn't want to "come out" due to the homophobic nature of the British press (and society to a certain degree) There was probably pressure from the record company to "stay in" in the early days due to his HUGE female fan base.

Yes he's definitely gay. Actors have to fake being with people they don't fancy all the time so I suppose that is what he did.

There are loads of straight actors who play gay roles and I suppose they might feel a bit odd for their first same sex kiss ??
But it is all role play , not real life.
