Hornet one: I saw Heart way back in 82 when they were supporting Queen and if I remember correctly, apart from their own excelent stuff they did some Led Zep covers!

I'd prefer ''chicks and hunks' over pre-madonna, drug riddled, no talent, muso wannabe's crowding the airwaves. Loads of bands play instruments these days, it doesn't make them any good most are just pure sh*t.
But both are equally deplorable.
Just because you can instruments doesn't make you any less vacuous than a pop artist group 'cos all i see is regurgitated ideas from the last century.
Pop has changed for the better but it's become that much more hateable.
End of rant.

I remember the group Heart. Well, they are more like a rock group, but hack Ann and Nancy Wilson kick a**. They are all about great, powerful vocals and capable of playing instruments (Nancy could play the guitar well), and they actually wears proper clothes on stage.
No fancy dancing, just pure rocking.

You bet!
There are still some 'voices' to be found out there and musicians who live for the music.
But who are we to nag on? Pop music is all about youth and that we cannot lay claim to any longer.
We have to let it go, just like our parents did!!!
