Why do American college students do not interact so much with students from 3rd world nations?

People are reluctant to speak to you, they are very superficial.

I have some friends from europe but they way american people behave with my european friends is way different from the way they behave with me or my other asian friends , I I stay in the midwest

You could turn that around and ask Why do 3rd world students do not interact with Americans? Both of them stick to what is familiar. Some actually want to learn about others. I live in a college town in the midwest and I see all cultures getting together. It seems to me that it might just be a personal problem for you. Maybe you need to be more open to different things.
