physically 17,
I feel like I'm 13.

This is a really difficult question for me to answer. So I asked myself why it's so hard? The answer seems to be because I don't associate “age” with “feeling.” I associate “experiences” with “feeling”. Maybe that's the whole meaning of life: to be able to have physical experiences that allow us to experience the concommitant feelings–and to change and grow by realizing that we are responsbile for those feelings. To me, age is more of a social role, and reflects social expectations that are learned. To be painfully honest, I'm tired. I want to rest. I “get” why death is a good idea. I don't want to hang around indefinitely, putting up with the crazies and the drama, the pain and the joy. We've all heard it: "You're only as young as you feel." And we've also heard about "old souls" and being wise beyond one's years. If you didn't know how old you are, or if your physical age were not taken into account, how old do you think you'd be? What age do you most identify with? I don't feel old at all. I feel brand new, and utterly ancient. If I did not know how old I was, perhaps I would more easily understand the cyclical nature of time. If I did not know how old I was, perhaps it would be easier not to compare. If I did not know how old I was, I'd be more humble, perhaps, and more confident, too.

well honestly I'm 22 and i feel like I'm 30 or 40 because life is going fast and also because i do most of thinking to my family and my siblings too and also I'm the third child but the other two that older than me not around and so i have to act and pretend like I'm the oldest and you know how that goes, even with my professional career i still have to think about my family first and that is a lot of thinking for two people my mom and me.

you know what.. to me.. actually 67yrs.. it is not a matter of how old you feel.. but it is a matter of how old your look and how GOOD you feel.. I assure you that at the ages of 30,40,50 and 60 I did not feel a bit better than I feel right now.. I can and do the same things just as I did them back then.. maybe not run quiet as fast and maybe not quite as far.. but then again.. I never was much of a runner.. unless of course someone is chasing me.. as for the rest.. I am just as good as I once was.. is 67 old? perhaps to you it is.. but to me.. it ain't bad at all..so I don't measure my feelings by my age.. but by my level of GOOD.. and right now.. thats how I feel.. Good.. just like I did way back when I was 30.. age is not a problem.. it is your health.. oh by the way.. I don't look 67 either.. ask me again in lets say.. 30 years.. I intend to still be here and kicking..

I am older then the trees but younger then the mountains and I feel like I am only 420 years old, a great feeling if I may say so, myself, its great to feel young and alive, again.
