prancing, as an Independent voter, I have sat back and asked myself this same question. Hillary wants the Hispanic vote, but doesn't want to upset the American voter either, so she is walking the tightrope in attempt to keep both sides happy. She is in fact for open boarders, but since almost 80% of Americans are not, she can NOT state her belief. Personally I want to know what the political leaders believe, as well as what they plan to do in the White House if elected. I am getting the answers I am looking for from the Republican side of the fence, but not from the Democratic side. Democrats dislike Bush so much, that they are willing to turn a blind eye to what is happening with their own party, just so a Republican will not be President. It's too bad that is what is happening in this country, as I try to be logical, and look at who will be best for America as a whole.

Hi,
A splendid question.
I am a UK voter, so have no say in US politics, but would query all "state leaders" as to some of the garbage that seems to be programmed into their set of thinking.
I loved the interview on TV with Margeret Thatcher, then Prime Minister, with a straight question from a lady in the audience asking "Did you authorise the sinking of the Argentinian vessel, killing 200 odd people ?"
She had to add - "look, it is simple. Yes or No"
Thatcher prevaricated, dodged the simple issue, and became annoyed that she had been provoked into giving an honest answer.
I tell things as they are, and if I make a mistake, as we all do, I put my hands up and say sorry
These beggars don't

The only candidate on either side that answers a question straight-forward is Ron Paul.
It is very refreshing

Sure they've been evasive over some issues like driver's licenses but they've been pretty darn clear on the big one's like Iraq, Iran, Guantanamo, healthcare, immigration, stem cells, and the economy. They've been pretty clear there. Better than the Republicans who are dead clear but dead wrong on these important issues.

Yes.
Democrats are always given "powder puff" questions.
And "softball" questions.
It's all part of the News Media plan to get Democrats elected.
