How many new jobs have been created in the U.S. since he took office?

What pay and benefits do workers in the new jobs receive?

I'm looking for facts, not opinions. Please provide an objective and responsible source.

Thank you, but the fact that the unemployment rate has gone down has little or no bearing on the question, since it only tracks the numbers of people who have lost their jobs and are actively looking for work. It's generally tied to those receiving unemployment insurance and/or seeking services from state employment offices.

Reports on job destruction/creation were regularly coming out of the mainstream media as of 2004, but I am not seeing them lately.

Well, all depends on how you look at it. Roughly about 6 to 8 million jobs have been out sourced. However, about a fraction under that (like 7 million jobs) have been added. The serious problem is, the jobs that were outsourced were VERY good jobs. Jobs for the Car industry (GMAC) etc. They all had benefits and paid decent salaries (ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 a year). They are gone and have been replaced with service industry jobs paying close to minimum wage or even below that.

the elementary (and maximum suitable) answer is that an financial gadget the dimensions of the US's would not swap on a dime. The empirical answer is that many years of financial study shows that job enhance would not rather start up till 6 to 9 months after the top of a recession. considering we are no longer there yet, we would desire to continuously nonetheless see some extra job loss, yet with success, the downward trend will proceed. you moreover would understand, of direction, that the funds would not get spent precise away - so for this reason, will no longer be able to even start to have an impression for months after the spending invoice (no longer the February request) is surpassed. From the attitude, any quote of job loss before say July can't be related to failure of the stimulus, yet quite a continuation of the winning recession.

Anyone that cites the BLS as their source for information is simply parroting what the administration wants you to say and know! There is widespread unemployment, with little or none for hope of ever finding work again. Those that do have jobs haven't seen a real increase in a decade unless your a teacher or school administrator then all bets are off, because they are a class onto themselves! The price of homes has dropped but the pressure to raise interest rates is still being applied! Add inflation to this mix and you have a potential for total economic collapse! Everyone remember this is the result of over the top spending from the republicans for the last 7 years of georges administration! And now he has the additional expense of the WAR to quadruple all budgets!

According to the news the unemployment rate has gone down, not up.
So the answer should be there are more jobs than when he took office since there are more workers now looking for more jobs.
As far as pay and benefits that is something that requires more information than is available here.
The Dept. of Labor keeps that kind of info. check with them.

Please tell the millions of Mexicans who are flooding into America to work that there are no jobs here because Bush is President. They will hire you as a comedian.
If you really wanted facts you would not be asking this laughable question here, you would go to the government's website and look at the statistics. What you are really trying to do is make up as many lies about Bush as you can and try to convince the gullible that your lies are true. I guess you don't think God punishes people for evil slanderous lies...

Don't know how many jobs have disapperaered in the US since Bush took office, but I do know that tens of thousands of jobs have been wiped out in Iraq - along with tens of thousands of Iraqi job-holders.

Oh, for a little 'restructuring' in the Whitehouse.... but what would a **** like GW do out in the real world?

(I'm sorry, Asker, you asked for "facts, not opinions" and I've just given my opinion, but my "objective and responsible source" is the demonstrable, empirical evidence that is coming out of post-'liberation', post-'democracy' Iraq every day of the week).
