It will not work and detect pregnancy after a while due to the hormone that detects pregnancy not being present at hight enough.

if you're pregnant (more than 2 weeks) it will always read positive because you would have the HCG in your body. The level of HCG goes up and down a bit in pregnancy but its always there.
Majority of the time, if its negative your not actually pregnant. Or its far too early to detect it.
There would be exeptions to the rules but very slim chances.

no when your pregnant a home test will always come up that your pregnant. its cause of the hormones in your body which makes it come up alot easyer and all the time.
