I know that I'm basically going to get crucified for saying this, but I don't believe in 'man-made' global warming.

The earth is getting hotter, and it actually has been for a long time now, but humans are not doing it.

We are not as important as we think we are, most people just want there to be a problem because they want to be part of the generation that "saved us from global warming". They would feel pretty stupid if the temperatures suddenly began to drop twice as fast as they are climbing.

To be honest, I wouldn't trust anything the environmental movement says anymore, that's why the original founder of greenpeace is always speaking out about how the environmental movement. It's not about the environment anymore.

The propaganda known as "An Inconvenient Truth" (and that's all it is, propaganda), is full of junk science that mis-informs viewers.

I'm not saying that an inconvenient truth is propaganda because I don't believe in man-made global warming, because I'll be the first to admit the film "The Great Global Warming Swindle" is propaganda as well.

However, if your not going to do your own research and make your own assumption on climate change, then at least watch BOTH an inconvieniant truth, AND the great global warming swindle, so that you can see the propaganda thrown up by both sides of the argument.

One thing that I can say is a true fact though, would be that anyone opposing the idea of man-made global warming these days looked down upon by alot of people, which just isn't right.

EDIT: Arasan, if your going to give your opinion, give YOUR opinion, not something you copied and pasted off the internet.

The phenomenon of global warming is actually happening and it is true. This is explained below with an illustration.
The average global temperature in 1995 reached 15.39 degree celcius, breaking the previous mark of 15.38 degree celcius in 1990.What makes the high average temperature of 1995 all the more important is that, it occured without the influence of natural phenomena, that at times contribute to warm temperatures.El Nino, the warm-water pool that appears in the Pacific ocean in a cycle of four years, was absent, and the solar energy cycle was also at its lowest point. This supports the theory that what is altering the earth's climate is the accumulation in the atmosphere of greenhouse gases generated by human activities.
