hey,...i used to get the same dry skin after using foundation on my forehead and cheeks, i found that using a more oil(liquid) based foundation worked much easier as i was able to smooth it into my skin easier, and to stop the oily look go over the top with a good matt finnish powder but be bareful not to apply too much or too hard.....you say you have been moisturising every day, why dont you try (you know the sponges with one side rough) using a cream based soap onto the the rough side and running over your face, i find my face feel much smoother, but dont do it everyday... i hope that helps

If you go to The Face Shop they should be able to provide you with something for your face.
My face can be tricky since I have combination skin (my face gets oily, but flaky like its dry). I use the Cucumber Face Mask (from TFS) and it super moisturises my face, without making it oily.
If you don't want to buy a face mask, or if you're not too sure about buying a product you don't know more about, make your own cucumber face mask.
Cucumber is well documented as the best product that will hydrate your skin. Google 'cucumber/face/mask' etc or go to this link that I just quickly found for an example of how to make a cucumber mask.

Use a facial scrub to get rid of the dead skin cells then moisturize. Give it a couple of minutes to absorb then apply your foundation - could be you need to try another foundation, one that is more suited to your skin type - matte foundation tends to show up dry skin even more (IMHO), powder foundation especially. Remember and drink plenty of water too as this helps rehydrate your skin.
Enjoy your ball tonight xx

Use an exfoliator. Noxema has them. A good cleanser will take off the flakes. Then you should use a tinted moisturizer for your foundation. For right this second, wash your face with a wash cloth. Use baby oil as a moisturizer or vaseline if you have it.

Ive been through stages like that and for the past year my skin has been pretty good, I use very cheap cream (E45 or asdas own) and dont mix any cream with foundation!! always wash your makup off and make sure you moisturise straight after!

wear a moisturising foundation.
go to your nearest drugstore and look for a foundation that says something like "for dry skin" or "moisturising"
or wear a tinted moisturiser underneath your foundation.
that seems so work for me but if your skin is REALLY dry then I'd go for a moisturising foundation.
hope this helps!
