Generation X are (I believe) the children of the Baby Boomers. They'd be in their middle to late 30s now.

As far as I can recall Gen X are those people born between 1964 and 1980 and anyone born after 1980 is Gen Y (I was born in 1982 so I'm Gen Y). I don't think Gen Z has stareted yet.
Plus it's a book by Douglas Coupland which is massively overrated.

We now have Generation X-Box. I can't wait till they grow up and start designing cars with joysticks or game-pads instead of steering wheels...

they are different decades where people were born, i cannot tell you from what year to what other year generation x or z was born, but my generation its called the millenium i think, not sure...
