Why not? It is no more ridiculous than any of the fairy stories posing as religion I've heard. According to Dr Who last night the Royal family are werewolves anyway.

I preferred him when he commentated on the snooker.
before his weird turquoise phase.
Also I find it interesting to note how he labels Bush, Brown, The Royalty etc as alien monsters yet he never comments on the truly nice, kind and honest world leaders like Mugabe, Ahmedinijad, Castro and The Saudi Royal family.
Perhaps he thinks they are sugar-coated raindrop dollies from la-la land...
