Storms generate their energy from somewhere (a large hurricane will contain thousands of times more energy than an atomic bomb). The source of such energy is heat in the atmosphere (originally coming from the sun). Therefore, if there IS global warming, then there will be more heat energy in the atmosphere, and more enrgy for storms.

because all the ice in the polar caps is melting, therfore as ther is more water, ther is more precipitation happening.. therfor more rain fall, as these cloud then travel, they mix with the warm climates and the hot and cold atmosphere collide and storms, tornado's etc happen!! also the pollution in the air causes acidic rain which also errodes land, rock etc!!

the weather gets warmer which evaporates more water which makes more clouds which have more water in them its called the water cycle
