We need all the varieties of others just as light has many varieties, everyone has a different input into my life. I think they help us open our eyes and see different things.
We need the fertile soil of the earth of others to help us grow and develope into the best possible person we can be.

i'm not easily heavily influenced by others
but when i am, it's both. the earth of others grinds me into the ground so that I have a foundation to fall back on, and grow upon, and the light of others helps me make my way past the foundation level
