consumer reports says the motorola e815 is a great idea (i think the information may be from a year ago.) i was about to buy the e815 from amazon and they sold out. i'm curious, is the e815 an older model number. should i still try and find it somewhere else or does anyone have a better idea? i am going to switch over to verizon in l.a., so the phone would have to be one that goes with a verizon plan. thanks so much for your help.

You need to check with your service providers. as long as your service provider able to support it is Ok.

This is a reason why iPhone only connect with AT&T.

Each handset has its own driver and would update periodically, so it is very important to check with service providers whether they support those drivers.
