I just want a router for security reasons only.I have only one computer and it has Vista.I have AT&T Yahoo! DSLthat came with a modem The router doesn't have to be wireless.I want it to be simple setup. As I said before,I hear that having a router that acts as a second firewall is a good idea....so what's a good choice out there?and is it fairly easy to set up? Thanks.

I've had experience with Belkin, Linksys, Netgear and Dlink. They are all easy to set up but my personal favorite is Linksys. They have good tech support and a reliable product.

I have Linksys - I've had this setup for 2 years. But my computer is wireless - it sits 50+ feet from the router and modem. Yes, the router acts as a hard firewall, and NOTHING gets past it but spyware, and that's in every computer if you get on the internet. A daily cleanup takes care of that.

Linksys has the best technical support - fast and easy to get in touch with, and they'll help you set it up. You can buy Linksys at Wal-Mart, you don't have to go to Circuit City, Best Buy or Radio Shack.
