We do see movies about them and many religions believe in them but did any of you actually meet one? If you have, then please let us know about the encounter and were you scared or anything? How do they look? I personally have not seen any and would like to believe that they are actually there!

Although I live in a city but ocassionally I visit my farm house which around 120 years old and is huge. Which I inherited from my grandfather. One evening I went there late and all the helpers and the guard was away. So, I was all alone there and exactly at 2:00 am I woke up in my bed with all my hair standing from fear. The room felt very cold and I felt as if the room is full of people with no noise. I switched on the light and the TV and after few minutes the room felt normal. Since then I always make sure that some else is there too.
Could it be an encounter with them or could just be just psychilocal feelings?

I've meet several.You were picking up psychic things and feelings when you were in the farmhouse.

I believe ghosts/spirits are all around us.
Yes, I have met one. She's actually a little girl that has been with my family now for about 30 years. When my sister was little she had an 'imaginary playmate' who she talked to and played with constantly. After years of her friend being around, we realized that it was actually the ghost of a little girl. She's 6 years old and those of us in the family that have met her all describe her in exactly the same way.
Anyway, about ten years ago when my sister was living in another state and was going through a traumatic situation, her 'friend' visited me, my mother and my brother all on the same night. The next day each of us called my sister to see if she was okay. My brother and mother didn't admit (even to themselves) that they had seen her until years later. I however, knew immediately who she was and what her message was. She came and stood at the foot of my bed and just looked at me until I woke up and saw her standing there. The was crying and put one hand out to me, as if asking me to go with her. I knew she was asking for help for my sister.
That same night, my mother didn't actually see her, but she was sitting in her living room where she has a large book case. On the bottom shelf is a photograph of my sister and behind that, a vase that my sister gave her. With no one at all near it, the vase moved over a few inches, slid forward past the picture and fell to the floor and rolled toward my mother. Weird? My brother's experience was more of a dream or feeling. He didn't actually see her, but knew that something was wrong with sister.
So, that's my family experience!
Yes, ghosts / spirits do exist.
Genies, well, I've never met one, but if you have, could you send him my way? I could really use a few wishes!

Me personally no. I believe there are spirits all around us....I don't really believe in Ghost but I do believe in Angels and Demons. My mom told me a story when I was younger about her incounter w/ what she believes to have been and angel. In the Bible it speaks of treating strangers w/ kindness and respect because they could be and angel. Well anyway when we were younger (I was an infant) My mom had this really broke down beat up car, she had to travel about 45 minutes away from our home to pick my dad up from work. So she loaded us kids in the car and got on the highway. It was stop and go rush hour traffic on a hot summer day. Well the car started acting up and when she pulled over to the side of the road it shut of completly and would not start. She didn't know what to do....No one was stopping to help her and this was before cell phones so she had no way of calling. She had 5 kids in the car and didn't know what to do. Well she told my older sisters to start praying w/ her and they all started praying. Maybe a few minutes after that a man in a white dress shirt and dress pants knocked on the window....He asked her what the problem was and when she told him he asked her to open the hood of the car so he could look at it....After that he sat in the car and my mom told him she tried starting the car many times and it just wouldn't start....well he did it once and the car started up sounding beautifu. He got out of the car and my mom just couldn't believe this had just happened. As she turned to thank him she noticed he was gone. When she thought about it she says she never remembers a car coming out of the traffic and there was no way he could have gotten back into that stop and go traffic that fast, So her conclusion was God had sent her an Angel. My mom isn't one to fabricate stories and normally a story like that I wouldn't think would come from her. I don't know though I have never seen them first hand, but I know they watchover us so why wouldn't they help in a time of need.....

I never have but I believe in them, I once woke up in bed with a strange feeling of pins and needles all over my body. Istarted to freak out obviously it felt like someone was sitting on me, from my head to my toes I couldn't move. That was kinda weird umm, I took a photo of my little cousin as I was baby sitting him *alone*, we were mucking about with make up nd stuff when I took a pic of him it was fuzzed so I just pressed back thinking it would delete it, later on that night I went to look through my phone and found a pic of my cousin just as I took it up close face view, and there would was a clear visible face right beside his a man with dark hair, strong jawline no-one ever knew who it was, then about a week later my phone went missing lol What else umm... My big cousin has had a pic of him took and rigt beside him in the photo there is a little girl standing right at his side looking to the camera in old fashioned clothes and ringlets, kinda transparent not sure who she is, or how she got in the photo because there were no kids around but there you go !lol
Umm When my big brother was about 15(now 31 nad learned his lesson) he used to buzz solvents as he was doing so he looked in the mirror that was infront of him and seen my mother who is alive standing with a lot more weight on her and really run down looking she sed 2 him "Please don't do that son,...please" Now so many years later my brother swears my Mum looks exactly like she did in the mirror then, these days... I have got quite a spiritual family loads of other stuff has happened just trying to think on the spot... Well I better go, things to do...But even if you don't believe or have a diff of opinion on these events DID happen !!

I was once awoken by a spirit(perhaps i just dreamt this?). The spirit was all dressed in black. 3 days later that person died. It was a very short encounter, & didnt make me uncomfortable during the encounter in any way. I do now wish I had engaged it instead of going back to sleep.

I don't think I have ever actually seen a ghost or spirit, but I used to live in a house where the previous owners son died in, and things would move.
Kind of weird when you're a kid. Now days I would love to see one.

yup I even have precise before ending my first marriage. I even had a buddy that became into interested in assisting me. yet i became into in basic terms rather starved for interest, at a loss for words approximately my life and correctly slightly curious. i did no longer desire to finally end up hurting her in my at a loss for words state so i did no longer enable something to start. She became into candy and if i became into going to swap i might provide her a decision.

yes years ago after my nan died . she use to go ever where in my uncles car . he gave me a lift in it and i had to sit in the back seat as he would not let no one in the front passenger seat has it was my nans seat when we were driving a long the road i saw my nan sitting in the front seat and i scream and told him to stop the car he ask why and i told him i saw my nan he said don't be scared she would not hurt me but i couldn't get back in that car ever again

yeah, this happenes to me alpot, when im just sitting ther alone, i have one of those teddy bears that when u press on em, they start playing a song, & its just sitting there alone in a corner & suddenley i hear music coming from it!, but im alone in the room, it really creeps me out.

Once When I went to night show movie....I met a creature...It was vertically from sky to earth...! I never met such ugly....face...! It carried me and tried to put into a deep well...!
My mother shouted.."Stupid how long would you remain sleeping..??"get out from the bed room.....!
