At your local ice skating/roller blading rink, do they play music really loud, have flashing disco lights and have different colour lights going in every direction? I swear this i swhat happened last time i went, but all the videos on youtube just have normal lighting and music in the background.

The one ive been to is completely opposite no music at all no weird lights just normal lighting i like it better that way

During the day time sessions they just have music (quite loud) but during the night sessions they have the flashing lights and stuff as well.
One funny thing to do (not when it's 40 degrees celcius outside and the ice is melting) is this:
Skate a bit so that you're going quite fast.
Put your arms in front of you and bend your knees so that you're squatting low down (this is called a "dip").
Now sit down on the ice and lift up your feet!
Yay! You are now sliding down the rink on your bottom!
Funny, but wet. The further you bend down the less it hurts when you sit on the ice. Don't do it if there are lots of people 'coz you may hit someone.

Oh yes! The one that's open year round always has loud music and flashy lights. I hate it, i find it hard hard enough to ice skate anyway without all the distractions.
But at christmas there's an outdoor rink that i go to. It really cool. They play music occasionally but if they do its always awesome music that just makes the experience even better. They have no lights except at night when they have christmas lights. I much prefer it to the one that has all the awful music and bright lights.
I love it! Im going tomorrow!I can't wait.

I think most Ice skating places have this, the ice skating place I got to though just has the loud music! Ice skating is really fun and its good if you get together with a group of friends, that way you can learn how to actually stand on the ice and not crash into people together! Its allot more fun then!

The rink at my side only have semi-loud music.
Something fun to do? I guess just go with lots of friends,
Then probably shave off some ice and put it into their shirt or something...

Our rink does both, the disco lights etc. are what they do at their "disco sessions". Normal public sessions just have normal lighting and music.
