I'm french, 55, and I'm thinking of starting a new life, including work. I'm looking for suggestions. I'm pretty goog at logistics and small scale user's friendly business management. Please forgive my akwardness, this is may first participation on Yahoo! Answers. I already leaved abroad, in USA, Romania and Germany, even though I don't speak romanian and my german is weak. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the best bits of UK (wales, Scotland) tend to be rather wet & cold & not to have much in the way of work opportunities .. if you like animals I would suggest go live in London .. plenty of jobs but very 'impersonal' (everyone is too busy to take the time to be nice to anyone else)..
To be honest, if you look at the immigration/emigration statistics, 'older' people are leaving UK for nicer/sunnier places eg. France, Spain, New Zealand etc .. and 'younger' people are arriving from former Soviet Block countries ...

This is question that only you can answer. People can only give you advice based on their own presumption of where you stand. I think that the initial question you should answer for yourself is: Why am I thinking of starting a new life?
If you've always wanted to live abroad, then by all means go-anywhere, just pick. Adventure is good at any age. If it's because you're dealing with some unpleasant issues there, then you must man up and face your fears. Then leave if you so choose.

i f i was you i would head straight back home ..i personally have found anywhere better .we have a home in the Pyrenees area of France ...the people are wonderful down there ..very little crime ..no graffiti ..no yob culture ..every body is polite ..and its just magic when we get over there ..and i don't even drink the wine...I'm teetotal ..always have been ..so you see my judgement is based on experience
