I like both of them, but I am going to have to say Bruce Springstein.

Bruce Springsteen! Born To Run and Thunder Road? GREAT SONGS! Man, .. just great stuff. I don't think Michael Bolton comes close to Bruce.

Michael Bolton's first FIVE albums were hard rock, but he just couldn't make it.
The Boss, on the other hand, is so renowned for his live performances he gets a nickname, and a tribute novelty rock song from Rick Springfield.

And the answer is obviously Bruce Springsteen. He's the guy that's usually ranked at the top, and I believe Michael Bolton's the guy that's usually panned by critics.

bolton isn't even rock so aren't you slanting the results just a bit.
all knowing 1 actually bolton was in a metal band a long long time ago. it was pathetic. it was called Blackjack and toured with ozzy. check out site below. you won't believe it.
