I understand your frustration, especially if your baby has a sensitive tummy. I used to always mix my bottles beforehand, then let it sit in the fridge and the bubbles would be gone. I only used powder once but my baby was sensitive to it so now we use concentrate, which, of course, is pretty much the same. If you mix the bottles beforehand and let it sit in the fridge, then your only worries are about warming the bottle, which is easy to do.

Ok The best bottles for that are Dr. Browns bottles. They are glass and have this tube in them which gets rid of air. they are a little on the expensive side, but very much worth it! Next Dr. Browns also makes a pitcher to mix the formula in that reduces the air as well. if you don't want to put more money out, or cant afford to, then try stirring instead of shaking. If you absolutely have to shake the bottle, especially real hard, try doing it and then opening it and letting it sit for a couple of minutes to let it release some of the air before closing it up again and proceeding with the feeding!

I have never been told shaking a bottle of formula isnt good - you need to mix the formula into the water so that is the only way apart from using a spoon.
Shake the bottle as normal and leave to settle for a few minutes - the foam / bubbles will stop and then will be ready to drink

shaking it is fine, the bubbles and foam shouldn't be a problme. To try and release some extra air I used to first tap it sharply on the kitchen bench after mixing it to break up some bubbles, and also quickly twist the cap to release air (not take it off completely) then re-screw it tight. And when the bottle is upside down in her mouth the bubbles go to the other end and she shouldn't be sucking any in if the teat is always full of milk. When you get to the end make sure she doesn't suck on an empty teat as this can give her wind.
best of luck

Shaking it is fine as far as I'm aware; just let it sit for a minute or two, then tap the side to get all the bubbles to the top.
Then when your daughter is drinking the bottle it's upside down, so she doesn't drink them. Take the bottle away before she drinks the bubbles and it'll be fine.

i have the same problem when i use powder , so i stick with ready to feed. if ready to feed is to much sign up for wic. wic does allow for enfamil ar because my son was on that for a while until we had to go to soy. and shaking the bottle is fine the only problem is it might cause gas in babies.
