The Philippines have experience unimaginable struggles in the past from the Spanish regime up until now more than any country in the world. And i believe this might be a cause of leadership factor. I'm just hoping, what if Dr. Jose Rizal has somehow manage to become a President, will it matter? Considering his strong leadership characteristics, he might become the greatest president of the Philippines ever. If you happen to be a fun of One Piece animated series, I'm sure you've seen the part where the King of Arabasta kingdom always proclaim, that "the country is its people and not the palace." However, up until now, can we claim One of our formers and current president to be the best? Why?

I vote for Fidel Ramos, think about it. When he was in office was he ever busted for anything major? Only after his term was all the major scandals, the corruption accusations surfaced.
That's a mark of a statesman, since olden times the better statesman has always been the one to get away with what he is doing without the people knowing.
And let's face it, in this country, even if he did his job honestly there will always be a faction screaming him down from office.

President Jose Rizal could have been unquestionably the best Philippine President because of his hope that the Philippines will be progressive country in his poem, "The Philippines a Century Hence".
