No. This year I have decide that life has gotten way to expensive to be wandering around the mall spending money that I will be paying back until next Christmas. This year, I refuse!!!
I am giving my immediate family only. It will be cash in a card telling them how much they mean to me. That way they can buy something they really want, rather than just open up something I think they might want!!! If they were small kids, I would order from a catalog online, a minimal amount.

We go to the Vanity Fair Outlets on Friday around 10 AM...after we go out for breakfast. There is hardly no one there cause they are all at the mall or Walmart. So it's a great shopping experience and nice to get out of the state.

I share your derision of the lemming mentality in this country. The media reports that stores will be open at 4:00am, and people start salivating and thinking that is somehow obligatory that they participate.
Perhaps this is the only excitement they have every year, which is really quite depressing to consider.

hell no...
i drove by best buy earlier tonight (like 9pm) and there were people with tents in front and wrapping around the sides of the building!! Sad...it's like 15 degrees F out.

no way, I'm still up not getting up, I don't understand you people(mom...) getting up early to get a free cheep thing or discount that isn't worth loosing 5 hours of sleep for.......merry Freakin' Christmas!
