Babies from birth through young childhood are biologically programmed to accept what adults teach them as truth. Originally, this was a valuable asset since young children needed to learn what in the world around them was dangerous. It was life-saving to accept what adults taught as truth.

I have come to the conclusion now that religious indoctrination is a form of child abuse. The indoctrination is so complete that beliefs trump thinking and young children grow to adults without being able to evaluate what is true and what is myth.

The cycle is endless. Once indoctrinated, these people go on to indoctrinate their own children. Anyone who doesn't believe this is indoctrination should just count up the number of people who leave the religion of their childhood. Some may go from Catholic to Lutheran, but seldom from Christianity or Judaism to Hindu or Buddhism.

It is precisely this fact: nature can be explained without God that leads to vicious assaults by Creationists. Their need for God is so great that they will forgo all moral bounds. In Kitzmiller v Dover, the outcome was as follows: Intelligent Design (the latest version of Creationism) was deemed unscientific and the Creationists evaded perjury charges on technicalities. Of course, the judge received death threats.

coz GOD knows about everything better. He is the creator of the universe including you and me, the whole humanity.
Now, u doesn’t believe in god right? Think very sincerely, everything that v know is maintained well and perfectly balanced. for instance, take our body, or any living thing. Its very complex and v cant even say what are all there in our body without a doctors help and whats happening inside it? hows its runnig? There are a lot of things that v dont know. Humans didn’t create themselves, the whole universe didn’t arrive by themselves. Its all done by an ultimate power. And thts GOD.
You just think of the way how the life is sustained in our planet. for example, think If there is a slight variation in the distance between earth and the sun, it can destroy everything here, not to mention life. So think about these things before you say that GOD doesn’t exist.

I don't think so. I think people need to believe in "something" to excuse certain behaviors, death, etc. They say stuff like, "I don't know why that happened. It was GOD's will. If the good Lord wants you to have that, you'll get it. When we were young, we went to Sunday school, and church, and it was instilled in us at a very young age, so you just grow up with the belief that there is a GOD. I guess it helps lonely people get through life feeling that they're not alone. Stuff like that. I say "so what" if people feel that way---whatever gets you through the day!
