However, by 2005, this had declined to 9.2 %. Circumcision has been proven to have minimal, if any, health benefits .... and has since been removed from all health care insurance plans. I, as the majority, did not have my sons circumcised.

No, in Canada, most men are not circumcised unless they are Jewish. There are still quite a few guys that are not Jewish who will be circumcised in Canada, but it's not nearly as common there as it is in the United States. In fact the US is the only country other than middle eastern countries where the majority of boys are circumcised. And it's the only country where circumcision is practiced for non-religious reasons.

Male circumcision is fairly common in Canada, though circumcision rates have dropped considerably in recent years. I believe the circumcision rates for newborn boys is down to around 10-15% in Canada now.
