I got band 7.5 in IELTS. Now i want to do TOEFL ,do i have to prepare for it i a different way,

Main difference is the speaking portion, TOEFL is all on the computer so get used to speaking into a headset while staring at a screen and not getting feddback.
On the listening, you won't see the questions until after you hear the talk, so plan to take notes on what might be important.
Last thing, you'll need to know American university terms like dorm and credit, so if you don't already, read up--it'll make following conversations easier. And the talks are pretty American in content, so reading up on American history and geography can't hurt. Also the accents are mostly American/Canadian, though you may get one British or Australian.

There are conversions from TOEFL to IELTS and vice versa. Why bother taking two tests?

for the US you may desire to take the TOEFL examination to persist with. It tests your English skills. international pupils whose first language isn't English would desire to take it. GRE is an examination student take who desire to persist with to Graduate college. the two US and international student would desire to take it.
