As much as I'd like to say yes, I must say no. Money was never invented, it is just a form of trading and trading has always been around - even since trading live stock back in the stone age.
If I were to name what the biggest tragedy of mankind was, I'd porbably be flamed for eternity. Nevertheless, it lays in front of us, always - it is not natural, and is not simplistic. It lays in the form of mobile phones, in the form of cars, in the form of hand-held computers.
You'll realise what I'm talking about.

Not at all. It gives the disabled and elderly a way to purchase goods and services without needing to barter or work for food, housing as was the norm at one time in history. Work for work, food for services, services for food.
Money represents the sweat blood and tears that goes into the work to earn it or the thought and time that goes into earning it.
Money isn't bad it's people that can be bad. Money is a tool which can be used for good or bad it's not the money it's the poeple and people have been both good and bad long before money came along.
Even in a so called cashless society nothing will change as there will be those who will find a way around it to do bad.

it enables you to get what you want easily.
its a universal commodity, everyone will accept it becasue they can trade it for something they want or need.
wheat used to be used as currency just for that reason.
what makes it evil is when the currency is inflated to **** and the standard of living in the country has gone to ****, when someone can work a job 40 hours a week and still be dirt poor, so the only way to live a good life is to become someone who can demand much more money then another person.
I believe anyone that works should be paid a fair wgae regardless, the evil is the one who decides what a fair wage is.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Money in of itself is not. The biggest tragedy for mankind is the invention of race.

No, not at all. Money is a really neat way to prod the precursor (barter) economy along. If I push these 'wild card' tokens that way, real goods move my way. And vice versa. Wherever the 'money' notion is accepted the velocity of transactions (equivalent to 'trades' in a pure barter economy) is accelerated.
Money is an imaginary notion, to be sure, but when it is a widely subscribed notion, it's one hell of a lubricant.
Push a dollar, get a roll of Necco wafers. Magic.

No. You can invent infinitely many things, at least one of them can be worse than money (directly or indirectly).
Being bad (from your point of view) is not an intrinsic property of money. The way all of mankind is using it atm is not the best, but it could be even worse.

Before there were currencies, they had trade, in all countries of the world. Some countries stil use trade for different goods.
The difference with currency is that it's lighter to carry!

I shouldn't think so ! Without Almighty money our society would abruptly stale to a stop and decline, no doubt about that one...It's easy to be altruistic, when one is secure and warm, well fed ...See the problem: we're not bad in our core, but we feel insecure and vulnerable, so we think money can buy us everything: from food to security...In this fear of ours we grasp for money, money and ever more of it thinking that can buy us happiness and security, but it's all wrong...
On the other hand: try to imagine world without money ?! Where would that lead us ? I'm afraid we'd soon live in caves and fight each other with weapons made of stone...

Money replaced using gems and other valuables to pay for things. Gems and other valuables replaced the barter system.
Which do you prefer, bartering for every individual item in the grocery store, or chosing to buy or not buy based on its published price?

i believe it is the biggest tragedy for mankind
because money is what separates us from our utmost desires
what im saying is
i wish that we can buy a car with a dollar
but unfortunately
even if your the successful ones out there
it takes time to get such luxury.
also, you fear life when you dont have money in your hands
hmmm
but its funny how we are able to get things by trading them a piece of paper with ink on it.
