Im 17 goining on 18 and acting is my passion. No matter what it takes I have to be an acor, but the only problem is that I don't know how to get started...someone help me

1.GET EXPERIENCE! Experience is key, without it, no agent will work with you. Usually, you should get: Acting classes, voice classes, and dance classes to become a 'Triple Threat'. This will help you in the industry, trust me.
2. GET AN AGENT! Agents will help you go through MANY auditions and they will send out your headshot (a professional photo of you, usually cost between $150-$350) to different casting directors.
This is pretty much all you need to get started. Remember, take acting classes and see if you're right for this industry. And also, you have to take in negativeness from directors and such, so make sure this is REALLY what you want.

First, go to Hastings, Blockbuster, etc.....
rent the movie "Grizzly Man". It's a documentary about a guy who wanted to be an actor. He even got so far as to try out for "Cheers" but was beat out by Woody Harrelson.
Then, he snapped. He thought his life mission was to protect Grizzly Bears in Alaska. They eventually ate him and his girlfriend.
My point...he quit when he failed. Don't you do that. Keep going. No matter how many people say "you suck" or "you'll never make it"....
if acting is what you want to do....do it....but don't quit cuz people say you should, or they say you'll never make it.

Go to the company that actors are in. Tell them u wanna act. they will make u act for a short clip and see if u can join them

Join the Drama club at your school, audition for any role you think is right for you, and hopefully you will get the part.

start going for auditions. then you'll know how good you are and get to meet people who can advise you on the best acting school to go and also introduce you to other people you should know.

Well get into theateer stuff get into small things and then it will work to larger things if your good enough Im sure you are.....and then before you know it you will be big..if you work hard enough and if you get discovered
