was i right for posting this on myspace?
Why is it that whenever someone has a secret, it's such a bad thing to keep it to themself?
Why is it that when someone knows something, they had rather turn the other way then face what's right in front of them?
Why is it that when something goes wrong, you're there for someone but they don't return the favor?
Why is there so much hate in the world today and what is it about being gay that really creeps people out?

I think that it's a very sad situation when you've grown up and become your'e own person and people still don't accept you for who you are. What I'm talking about is the fact that IM GAY and that doesn't change who I am. There are a few people on here that I have told already and are very kool with it and I thank you very much. It's the "other" people that I told, one whom I thought was a "friend", but just won't see me for being me and not just another gay male, well to that I say GROW UP because I'm not going to change just because you don't like it or you think that I want you or something. I'm just another human being with a job and an income like everyone else. Anyways, to everyone that does support GLBT issues, that's kool and to everyone else, that's okay too but don't hate on people that do because equal rights is not for one person, equal rights is for all people. Thanks!

Hey there! You have every right to post whatever you want on MySpace. You are right about your being gay not changing who you are. I, like you, dont understand what is the big deal with people who freak out when they find out someone is gay. You are who you are and no one should try and change you or back away from you just because of your sexual preference. If people liked you before they knew you were gay then they should like you after they find out. Stand up and be proud of who you are! And remember there are always people who will care about you no matter what you do or dont do. Stay strong!!

I'm not sure I understand your question...
Did you actually ask a question.
You have to live in the real world. You're probably in late middle school or high school. Regretfully, most people are in it for themselves. You have to take care of yourself and make the best life you can. Being gay isn't a picnic, but you can make yourself happy. Hang out with people who make you feel good about yourself. Get involved in activities that make you feel like you're really having fun with people who care about you. The heck with everybody else.
As long as the church keeps spreading the word that we're creepy, the average person will believe it. Be the best person you can be. Maybe volunteer theu the gay center-- you'll be around people who really care about themselves and others.
HUGS!! My best to you, little brother.

Hate is world wide. It knows no hunger, no rest and no waiting. It has many faces, one you've met already, many more yet to meet too I'm afraid to say. The point is this: EVERY ONE world wide has the right to be loved, to love, to live and die as they wish without recriminations or threats. And yet, hate refuses to stop. Why? Really because no one truly CAN stop hate least they stop it from the starting point of life. And that means the child's parent/s must refuse hate to enter into their child's education.
