The Origin of Kek:
The Egyptians believed that before the world was formed, there was a watery mass of dark, directionless chaos. In this chaos lived the Ogdoad of Khmunu (Hermopolis), four frog gods and four snake goddesses of chaos. These deities were Nun and Naunet (water), Amun and Amaunet (invisibility), Heh and Hauhet (infinity) and Kek and Kauket (darkness). The chaos existed without the light, and thus Kek and Kauket came to represent this darkness. They also symbolized obscurity, the kind of obscurity that went with darkness, and night.
The Ogdoad were the original great gods of Iunu (On, Heliopolis) where they were thought to have helped with creation, then died and retired to the land of the dead where they continued to make the Nile flow and the sun rise every day. Because of this aspect of the eight, Budge believe that Kek and Kauket were once deities linked to Khnum and Satet, to Hapi - Nile gods of Abu (Elephantine). He also believed that Kek may have also been linked to Sobek

Well, from what I have read, Kek is the Egyptian god of darkness. More importantly, he was also known as the bringer of light, so he was in charge of the time in the morning when it is darkest, but right at the verge of becoming light. I may be stabbing in the dark, (pardon the pun), but perhaps the reason you chose this name has something to do with your life--the fact that even at the darkest, you are bringing light, you are making the most of who you are and where you are going, and it doesn't matter what has happened, because the night has passed and the day is soon to being.
Another thought is that he was also known as the god of obscurity and chaos. Life itself does not always play along by a simple set of rules. Sometimes it flies off in many directions and feels very chaotic. Being able to manuever through the chaos and find meaning and just to enjoy living can be difficult, but at the same time, very exciting. You can be afraid of the dark and shiver in your corner, or you can accept that there is darkness, light, greyness...etc. and live fully and well.
Okay, maybe cheesy, but this is my guess.
